The music, the lyrics, the singing, the playing, and the way it was recorded. It is one of those rare albums where everything is just a perfect - even the album artwork is perfect. I cannot say enough about how much I love the music of Matt & John (and for that matter, Dan). What an incredibly talented bunch they are. These songs still run through my head every day, more than a year after the release of the album. steveguion

They run through styles effortlessly with so much soul and fun throughout even when dealing with heavy stuff (e.g. "Write It On The Water"). You can feel the fun they had in making this during a decidedly non-fun time, and "Where You're Going" sends it home with a perfect lesson for all of us prone to agonize over the past and not treasure the now enough. savemeaseat_usa
